Concept 1's photo moment was designed with fun, modern, saturated colors, iridescent mirrors inspired both by Dwayne's iconic glasses and trendy, futuristic eyewear store designs like Gentle Monster. It also features a subtle nod to Whitley's round lavender chair from the original show. Additionally, this photo moment has a promotional merch element for Netflix. Students can shop and customize their own pair of flip-up glasses to take home and continue repping and embodying the Different World characters.

Inspiration
Concept 2 has more of a traditional college school spirit vibe. Students visiting the pop-up can pose with their friends on the couch and hold up the branded pillows and pennant flags to celebrate as if they've just been accepted to the world famous Hillman College. Frequently throughout the show, you can see stone walls covered in ivy so here this serves as the backdrop in this photo moment. The inspiration for the leather sofa and Persian rug were pulled from scenes from the original show as well.
